KEY INSIGHTS FROM DEBORAH

  1. If you’re self-employed and only earning active income through a job, you’re not getting paid when you’re not working.
  2. As your skills grow, your projects (opportunities) will grow, and your income will grow as well.
  3. As women, sometimes we need each other to keep growing. You can lend your confidence to someone else to help them succeed and vice versa.
  4. Don’t just check things off your list. Remember to stop and celebrate each win.
  5. You can choose to let your circumstances destroy you, or they can become the motivator that propels you into greatness!
  6. Growth is a continual process. Seek guidance from those whom you admire.
  7. It’s important to be congruent in yourself to be able to lead others.
  8. Learn to balance the scales. If you spend 10 minutes thinking of everything that can go wrong, spend an equal amount of time thinking of everything that can go right.
  9. In any change, you need support systems. Surround yourself with people you know, like, and trust, so you can ask their opinions.
  10. Get educated, find your tribe, and follow your intuition.
