Have you been trying your best to grow your business, but things haven’t quite worked out the way you hoped?
We’ve all seen and heard stories of other entrepreneurs who became six-figure income earners in nearly record time.
It’s enough to make you wonder, what do they have that I don’t have?
After all, I do the work. I put in my time. And yet, I still can’t seem to find the right clients, find enough clients, or generate good sales.
You’re probably starting to feel like maybe you will never be able to create a consistent monthly income by earning money online.
Hey, you are not alone.
And even though things may seem frustrating right now, the good news is that you can definitely turn it all around!
You can make your business exactly what you always dreamed it would be.
All you need to know is how to start attracting the right clients.
And fortunately for you, here are 4 things my friend blog growth hacking pro Chelsea. of HerPaperRoute.com recommends that you can do to seriously level up your business.
And finally, start to earn the consistent income that you deserve!
Table of Contents
1. Finding the right balance
This is one you might not expect. And quite honestly, it’s something that many entrepreneurs don’t fully embrace until they have to fight through it themselves.
But not having a healthy balance between your work life and your home life can leave you feeling dissatisfied in both areas.
Chances are you’re directing too much of your energy on your business and that could have unwanted consequences. For instance, losing sleep, neglecting friends, difficulty completing tasks, and putting too much pressure on yourself to succeed.
However, just think for a moment about the last time you had a big idea. Did it happen while you were sitting in front of a computer?
Probably not! I know that many of my most successful ideas came while sitting in my car after running errands.
Sometimes all we need is time to take a step back, stop stressing and allow those “ah-ha” moments of inspiration to break through all the chaos.
Then, when you least expect it, the wheels in your brain start turning. And things suddenly become more clear about how you can make a change or improve a process.
I’m sure you’ve heard the expression that it’s hard to see the forest for the trees. That’s why giving yourself space and distance from work is a great way to gain a new perspective and ultimately achieve better business results.
2. Poorly packaged services
Okay, so another thing keeping you from consistently earning money online is not packaging your services properly. Your biggest downfall here happens when you either:
- Don’t offer packages
- Offer too many packages
- Offer packages that aren’t focused on the results that your specific client wants to achieve
Without packages, you’re asking prospective clients to tell you what they need. The problem is — they don’t know what they need!
That’s why they came to you. Customers are looking for an expert who can see their problem and tell them what they need to do to fix it.
On the other hand, offering too many packages is just as bad because potential clients can get overwhelmed by too many choices.
On top of that, if your packages aren’t aimed at a specific client, then that makes it hard for your prospects to imagine how you will get them the results they want.
Fortunately, understanding how to package your services and attract paying clients is something you can learn.
You can do that by attending events where you can be mentored by experts.
For example, I was recently a featured speaker at the Brave At Business summit.
This mindblowing event was jam-packed with 42 successful female entrepreneurs sharing some of their top business secrets to help anyone attending grow their business.
This summit was filled with courses, workshops, and networking events.
Plus, look at this awesome comment one of the participants sent me.
The bottom line is that if you’re tired of not seeing the results and you’re ready to start consistently earning money online, then you’re going to need help!
You can seek out mentors on social media like Facebook or Instagram. Follow them. Learn from them. Sign up for any free webinars or events they offer.
The cool thing is that you don’t have to try and reinvent the wheel.
You just need to find out what works and then give it your own twist.
3. Less than stellar content
Creating content that inspires your readers to get to know, like, and trust you is crucial if you ever want them to buy what you are offering.
So, if people aren’t buying what you’re selling, does that mean your offer isn’t great?
Of course not!
All it means is that you need to do a better job of getting your message across. You can start by improving your content and giving your future customers something fabulous to talk about.
So how do you create the type of remarkable content that people can’t stop talking about?
First, you have to know who you are targeting and what they are struggling with! Pain points, pain points, pain points!
What is keeping your ideal client awake at night? Only then will you be able to create the content or services that provide the solution to fix their problem?
Think of it like this. When people are sick, they need medicine, right? But, which medicine?
Well, that depends on whether they have a headache, the flu, diabetes, asthma, nausea, a rash, etc.
Each condition requires a different treatment. Your content, product, or service needs to be the medicine that cures your target customer’s specific problem.
4. Too many eggs in your marketing basket
We all know that marketing yourself and getting clients in the door is one of the hardest things to do!
Many entrepreneurs will try anything in the beginning just to get their name out there any way they possibly can.
You’ll see them on every social media platform, doing webinars, frequently publishing content, networking, collaborating, and so much more.
But here’s the problem.
Imagine if you were a home builder and you laid one brick on the foundation of a thousand properties. After a ton of time and effort, you will have laid a thousand bricks and not have completed a single home.
So, can you guess the moral of that story?
Your time is always better spent focusing on only one thing at a time that actually does work.
For instance, if Instagram is where your clients hang out, then consider dropping everything else and focusing your attention there, like my friend Chelsea did.
Over To You
